This course, designed for beginners, provides an introduction to pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and syntax through intensive drills, conversation, and writing in French. The French in Action video program, used daily in class, is reinforced by sessions in the Language Center and the students’ use of their workbooks and the on-line exercises. The class is conducted mainly in French from the start.
